Quizla is responsible for your data.

It is our responsibility to control the way your personal data is collected and the reasons and how it is used.

What We Collect

Email Address	During Sign Up	To be used as your primary username during login to identify you as the quizmaster.
Name/Team Name	In Quiz	to uniquly identify each team or player.
Quiz Name	In Site	name that you have supplied for the quiz.
IP Address and Browser Information	General Usage	This information may also be collected anonymously by Google for the purpose of tracking usage and optomising content within the site.

Where Data is Stored

All of the data is stored in data centres within Europe.

Our encrypted backups are stored in data centres around the world

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not share you data with anyone. Your quiz is harded with those you provide access to.

Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?. There are two cookie types in use by Quizla. We use a Session Cookie to maintain your logged in state, without this you would not be able to log into the site.
We also use Google Analytics to anonymously track usage within the site to help us optomise the site for future visitors.

Security

Security is extremely important. We still maintain a strict security poilicy.

If we are made aware of a data breach we will aim to disclose it within 24 hours as long as this disclosure does not but the data at further risk.

We backup the data from Quizla daily into encrypted backups within a different private data centre. Your data will not be disclosed to anyone except mentioned above.

All account passwords are encrypted with appropiate one-way salted cipher reducing the rish of passwords being leaked.

We will never contact you to ask you for any of your credentials.

Data Longevity

Your data will be kept within our database until such time as you choose to close your account, at which point it will be erased. Your quiz list and participants will automatically be erased at the same time. This time period is regularly reviewed.

Your Rights

You are entitled to see all copies of your data held within Quizla and can modify/correct it at any time by logging in. You can also erase your account once logged in if required.

If we decide to ammend or change our privacy policy we will update this page.
